Danny Shum

Decades prior to immigrating to Canada, Danny earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Systems Engineering from the University of Regina, SASK. Following 30 years of work in the Supply Chain and Supplier Quality Engineering fields in Hong Kong and China, and 17 years of service as a veteran Auxiliary Police Officer in Hong Kong, Danny immigrated to Prince Edward Island with his family in 2013 and obtained Canadian citizenship in 2018. 

Since relocating to PEI, Danny worked at the Bank of Montreal, operated his cafe restaurant in Charlottetown, obtained his PEI real estate salesman license and driver instructor and examiner license from PEI Highway Safety. He sold hundreds of properties on PEI, taught hundreds of new drivers at the PEI Safe Driving School.

Danny is passionate about assisting individuals in finding their ideal home. With Danny's strong background in quality engineering and sourcing, he is equipped to identify the right property and negotiate the best deal for buyers. You can find Danny selling homes in the Greater Charlottetown area, managing real estate portfolios, or teaching novice drivers in his "Safe Driver" car. Outside of work, Danny enjoys volunteering with organizations such as Citizen on Patrol, St. John Ambulance, and the Immigrant and Refugee Association (IRSA). Danny lives in the Town of Cornwall with his wife Zhuzhu and son TY.
